We are the children of the Sunflower Class and our teachers are Hilary, Alice and Becky. In our class we do many things, as you can see from the photographs.

Every week Claire takes us for either art, cooking or music and movement. We also have weekly reception classes for Maths and English.

Each day we use the Montessori materials and learn so much about maths, language, geography, history, science and nature. We all help to keep our classroom clean and tidy and at lunchtime and snacks we lay the table and serve each other.

This year we have had several new children join our class. We enjoy making them feel welcome by helping them with classroom routines and including them in our games.

In our class we do so many exciting art and craft activities and our cloakroom is filled with the beautiful things we make.

In the summertime we love to play outside in the playground with the balls and playground toys. Sometimes we have a picnic in the meadow and play games.
