classes
at The Children’s House. The children in our class range from
3.5 years old to 6 years old, and we all get along together
really well. It’s great for us little kids to be together
with the big kids because the big children can teach
us so much. And when us big kids are able to help the
little ones, we feel really proud and get a huge confidence
boost. Every
day we get to do lots of work in class. There are
6 different areas in our class – Practical Life, Sensorial,
Mathematics, Language, Cultural and Creativity – with
lots of activities for us to do in each one. We also have
special classes for cooking, music, art and movement and
some of us older children also go to reception class a few
times a week to prepare us for Primary School. We
all really love the way that the class is made to feel like
our own. We have to take care of everything in the class just
like our mummy’s and daddy’s have to take care of our homes
and their offices. This makes us feel really important. As
well as all the activities and special classes that we
have, we
also do lots of different projects so that we can learn about
the world outside of our classroom. Anyhow, we had better
be going now, we’re all really busy you know!
