About Us
We offer a nursery, preschool and kindergarten Montessori program. Our school serves a community of families from many countries and our teachers are from all over the world. They are native English speakers and are expertly trained in the Montessori Teaching Method. We offer full or part-time programs. All classes are taught in English
Frequently asked questions:
What will children learn at the Children's House ?
- The Nursery Program (children aged 1-2.5) is the child's first important step from the family into a new environment. Here at The Children's House, we understand how difficult it can be in a big city to ensure that your child is exposed to a variety of experiences in his/her early years. Therefore, we have provided the perfect setting with the right combination of play work and - most importantly - love for those first few years.
- The Pre-Primary Program (children 2.5 - 3.5) provides an opportunity to explore and experiment. Children develop independence, language skills, sensory awareness, order and routine. The child is immersed in a new atmosphere of friendship, trust, respect and safety.
- The Primary Program (children 3.5 - 6) has a prepared environment that encourages increased independence and active participation in the learning process. The Montessori manipulative materials enable students to progress at their own pace. Children receive individualized and group instruction in an atmosphere of cooperation and non-competitiveness.

Classes concentrating on Mathematics and English,
for all children who are four and a half years or
older. In these reception classes, we have combined
the Montessori teaching method and the traditional
school curriculum with the aim of securing the
fundamentals of numbers, reading and writing before
each child enters mainstream Primary School.
Each week, all reception
class children will receive two special Mathematics
classes and two special Literacy classes alongside
the Montessori curriculum.
